DESCRIPTION
HYPERION IV Solar Simulator is designed to utilize LED light sources without a focal lens in a single DOT configuration, integrated in a revolutionary head together with all the driving electronics.
HYPERION IV Solar Simulator is a state-of-the-art device, designed to achieve good spatial uniformity and high accuracy with a A+A+A+ rating - accurate, cheap and easy to use and setting the gold standard in the field. Fully designed and manufactured By Energy (Greatcell Solar Italia).
HYPERION IV Solar Simulator is available in two models:
HYPIV10 with active illumination area of 10cm x 10cm
HYPIV20 with active illumination area of 20cm x 20cm
The system provides a variable output from 0.1 to 1.0 sun over an illumination area larger than 20cm by 20cm at an adjustable working distance of 9.5 for HYPIV20 (10cm x 10cm at an adjustable working distance of 8.5cm for HYPIV10 model).
HYPERION IV Solar Simulator is compliant with the most stringent international standards (ASTM E927-05, IEC 60904-9 2007, and JIS C 8912), in particular it matches A+A+A+ class that is twice the accuracy of the IEC standard.

SOFTWARE
Dedicated Software enables the customization of the LED matrix emission spectrum starting from default (AM1.5G). The end user can dim the output of a single LED family (the dimming range can vary with different LED types) or the entire spectrum in a 1% step (or multiples thereof).
Each LED family can be switched off and dimmed individually to simulate different scenarios (sunrise, dusk, indoor, etc.). Unlike Xenon lamp based solar simulators there is no need for expensive filters. Personalized custom spectra can be stored in a repository and then retrieved without any realignment or calibration activities.

HYPERION IV Matrix is equipped with 20 LED families to provide a class A+ mapping of the AMI1.5G spectrum between 360nm and 1100nm. The spectrum can be customized to specific emission bands in the 360nm~1100nm range.
WI-FI MODULE
Operate the solar simulator with a Wi-Fi connection (optional feature), enjoy the wireless freedom while keeping the immediate machine response for an easier access and management. No more awkward connecting cables with the freedom to use the simulator where it would be impossible or inconvenient to connect a computer such as, for example, a glove box.
